  • D4 (finished), Building Intelligence Framework and Data Collection Report:
    • To review the existing literature on building intelligence assessment, multi-attribute value techniques;
    • To develop a personalized thermal comfort equation;
    • To develop three real-time building intelligence assessment models; and
    • To design the architecture of the building intelligence assessment software package.
  • D3 (finished), Agent Design and Policy Management Specification, specifies:
    • the design of MASBO (Mult-Agent System for Building cOntrol)
    • policy management
    • Wireless sensor network interface
    • profiling and testbed
  • D2 (finished), System Architecture Specification (initial),
    • decomposes the main CMIPS functions (assessment, control, etc.)
    • specifies key relationships and interfaces between the main CMIPS functions
    • identifies key interfaces to systems external to CMIPS (e.g. Building Management Systems)
  • D1 (finished), Requirements Capture, establishes customer/client requirements in the areas of:
    • building performance assessment
    • building control – both user-centric and building operator-centric
    • environment sensing
